Do not forget here
https://www.pilotodyssey.com/ and my older version if the site here
https://www.pilotodyssey.com/indexBAK.htmGo over the entire Pilot, change the
Engine balancer oil and the transmission oil after a few tanks of gas, try to change after a ride so anything nasty in the oil is still in suspension and not in the bottom the cases.
If you do not know the age of the brake fluid and coolant probably a good thing to change them also.
Keep the front brake shoes properly adjusted and the Pilot will stop on a dime. Inspect the pad thickness on the rear disc brake do not run it down metal on metal and scar the disc.
Share any and all findings. Drain the oil in CLEAN pans, use separate pans so your not mixing the oil. CSI the drained oil, look at it in different lighting to see if there is any metallic in the oil. Its normal to see a light hue of metallic in the oil but if you see a LOT there could be a problem.
Every ride trip my modified Pilot received an trans oil change. When I was running my Pilot Engine the balancer oil was changed every other trip. I wanted my trans to last forever. Every year I changed my Engine coolant
