I was hosing off the pilot after a ride and when I was done washing, drying ect..tried to start and only got a solenoid clicking sound. Gonna look in the manual but between now and then gimme a heads up on what you think I soaked too much! Hopefully i didn't break it, that would be another purchase I'd need to hide from my wife! OOPS!!

check the connection where battery cable connects to starter.
check battery terminals.
I have had both cause same problem

You could pull start it and run it around to dry things out then try it but you need to find the connection problem and fix like Stoneman says.
