Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been working with a local machine shop to reproduce the Works Performance shocks trailing arm bushings that are needed to install the Fox 2.0 shocks (Part# FOX-980-02-013). In addition to that I am also having them make a bushing to reduce the upper shock mount to accept the 1/2 bolt. I have received the test set and have given them the go ahead to make more. I should have them by the end of next week, maybe sooner. I currently have 15 sets being made and 2 of those sets are already spoken for. I wanted to offer them to the guys here before they get listed elsewhere. I do not have the cost yet because I have not paid them but it should be pretty reasonable. Also, I can include the hardware at an additional cost if you would like.

NOTE: The Fox shocks are a 1/4 inch longer than the factory shocks & works shocks.

Curtis,

So we don't have to chase down hardware, you may want to offer that also with the kit. I don't have my Ody anymore to measure screw length.

Also an added tidbit..... if memory serves me right, one of the spacers from the Fox shock kit has to be used to give the upper part of the shock sufficient clearance.

You will have an option to buy the kit with or without hardware. I do assume that most will want the hardware included. I will do a write up (w/pictures) of the installation of this kit with the hardware I have sourced.

Awesomeness. I'm interested in doing the fox shocks so I'm glad you worked out the custom hardware. I may buy the shocks even sooner. Definitely cheaper route than the Farr rear suspension, but I still want bad.

So I picked up the bushings today. They were a little bit more expensive than I had thought but they did a great job on them and said they used high grade aluminum.

Pricing includes shipping to the lower 48 USA. I will ship anywhere but will have to get a separate shipping quote for you.

Full Kit = Aluminum bushings and Grade 8 hardware: $50

Bushings Kit = Aluminum bushings: $38

Here are some pictures of the install steps.

Note: Install on rear left hand side (drivers side)

Step 1: Remove existing shocks and hardware.

Step 2: Grind inner frame upper shock mount flat. You want the washer to sit flush with surface & in parallel with the flat surface on the other side of the mounting hole.

Step 3: Install upper aluminum bushing. Be sure hole is clear of rust and debris. If you have to tap it in, use a rubber mallet.

Step 4: Install trailing arm aluminum bushings. Same as upper but on either end of trailing arm mounting hole.

Step 5: Upper shock install.

Step 6: Lower shock install.

Step 7: Adjust rear link evenly and as needed to fix camber.

Step 8: Adjust shock pressure as needed. 250psi is a good starting point. (160lb person)

Excellent write up and I appreciate the time and research you put in to having these developed/made for this community. I should be able to provide some feedback after this weekend on the how the Fox Shocks compare to the stockers and how the bushings hold up. How much did you have to adjust to get the chamber correct on your machine?

Thanks guys! It is humbling to know that my efforts are appreciated and I am glad that I can help. :-) These shocks are a great option for any FL350 owner and with an easy install kit they are now much more appealing.

Iv tried 4wheelparts/offroadwarehouse/ployperformance and everyone is on backorder and had to cancel my purchase haha great!

Anybody know of a place that has these shocks in stock? Lol

This site should have them in stock. Call first but another person just ordered from here. Apparently these shocks are now in high demand... I wonder why?
