I installed the power bloc clutch, have 12 wieghts in each, rode it in kitzmiller.....seemed to shoot out of the hole with very little spin and much more pull than the stock clutch. When running close to open then hit the brake to slide a turn it doesn't seem to drop down. Also i notice reverse has NO power at all.
Any help?

You know how to remove washers in the weight puck? take out 3 washers in each puck make sure you install the cover properly when you reinstall, try it again.

If you have a tach and can provide me with your current RPM I could give you better advice for now I would wait for the pipe and go from their.

Did you read my article on the pipe? viewtopic.php?f=109&t=13671
You will need to make minor adjustments to the pipe before using.

I would tune the clutch to the pipe before I bought a different carb, have you performed the dual intake mod to your air box I cant tell by the pics you post of your Pilot?
http://pilotodyssey.com/prefilter.htm
http://pilotodyssey.com/intake-mod.htm
http://pilotodyssey.com/prefilter3.htm

The air box mod is the first mod one should do to the Pilot or odyssey http://pilotodyssey.com/Pilotmod.htm , to get a preview of what the mod does remove your air box cover and go take your Pilot for a ride, I would perform the air box mod before tuning the clutch, jetting, installing the pipe..

No tach

I do have the dual intake set up.

I talked to Marv today and the pipe is shipping Monday.

I have read your article on the pipe and do plan on following that before the install.

So I plan on installing the pipe before touching the carb or clutch.

I will get back to you at that time with my progress.

Thanks for your help.

I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!

The reason why I say hold off on the carb is after riding at ECJ a few times I don't think you will need a bigger carb if you ride at other areas where its not as much trails and more WOT (Wide Open Throttle) and the guys your running with are walking away from you then I would consider making the carb change, only you can figure this out...

recieved the pipe from Marv....2 weeks later than promised. No harm done. Read your article and made adjustments needed for minumum turbulance.

After I assemble the pipe. Should I take it for a spin then read the plug. Or does anyone, from experience, know if I should jet it first.

It depends alot on how rich your current jetting is, what color is your current plug?

How are your jetting skills you jetted a 2 cycle Engine before?

Read all the popular jetting articles?
http://pilotodyssey.com/jetting1.htm

I would take it out for a normal ride then check the plug color again, I wouldn't go down the road WOT (Wide Open Throttle) for a mile heh if you feel the need to do that then go up on the main jet first.

yes I have some skills in jetting a 2 stroke.
I also read all the articles too.
I definitley use this site to it's potential. It's nice what is just at my finger tips!

Can you be more specific about the ride to take? Normal in the way I usual ride. I get that..
How about amount of time?
Should I start with a fresh plug or clean the on that's in there?

I would keep the plug you have and not even clean it your looking for the change in color, with a new plug it takes time before you see color, as for the time I would take it for a normal 5-10 min ride and check the plug, you cant really read the plug to often, if it goes white or light gray then you know your too lean, if the tan just gets lighter then your probably ok.

okay took her out for a rip. About a 5 minuter.
WOW is she stronger. The plug lightened up a shade or 2. So we are at Light chocolate now. As for what I have read on the site. I'm a little rich. I think I'll stay safe and check again on the run tomorrow. Lots of WOT (Wide Open Throttle).

The reverse is not as bad as before , but still sluggish. I will pull 2 weights from each chamber then test it.

Question on the mixture.
I'm running 40:1 927 castor racing oil. Why that oil? been using it in ALL my 2 strokes for years. We are a match. Should I continue with the 40:1 or should I change that?

Pulling the weights now. I'll fill you in on that.

I would drop to 32:1 since your making mods and going to run it harder.

I don't get your comments about reverse can you give some details?
Their is a reverse rev limiter you know, it will shut off spark for a while if you exceed a set amount of RPM's you can by pass this if you like.

Cool glad you like your new setup.

"Its just sluggish," that's why I asked about it.
