hi hoser jim here,, my kids have been running the oddy alot ,but all of a sudden no spark, it was running when we put it away.. i checked all the wiring and it seems to be ok.. i checked where van rehooked the wires thinking maybe we pulled one out, but they are all intact..any ideas?? thanks///jim :shock:

You think moisture may be a problem? Dunno how your storing it.

Got gas? had to ask hehe

Try replacing the spark plug with a known to be good plug, I have seen plugs that would work
if they were hot but when stone cold would not fire....

yes i have gas .lol . i checked that 1 myself.. it was running strong the last time i rode it..put it away and now nothing.. it stays in my garage so moisture shouldn't a problem..i went to auto zone and got new plugs.. even cut off the ends of coil wire and redid.. still no spark.. would the coil go out like that?? or CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition)? i even kicked the tires .. nothing,, :-)

hi hoser we checked out all the elect.. and the coil isnt doing what the book says.. and were not sure how to do the CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition).. without screwing it up.. ill be at 393 all day 2morrow.. (osha class) are you free anytime in the afternoon.cause im thinking maybe CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) or coil.. problems but need to see if you can check them incase we did it wrong.. if your not free that's cool also.. let me know..
