This is the sister car to the one I bought from Dave-Co. It was down in Yuma Az. It’s in much better condition but still needs some work. It has a Polaris 500 Fuji sled Engine. It’s the longer version for the desert (about 7” longer than the stadium or short course buggies). Since It’s in better shape than the Dave-Co buggy I’m swiping parts from that one. I’ve swapped out the rear lower control arms, inner and outer hubs on the left side, front master, brake lines calipers and linkage. Also replaced the battery, choke assembly, carbs, shift cable etc. It is coming along well. The tires were all junk but some really beefy inner/outer bead locked wheels came with it. Here are a few pics for now.

Very nice buggy Bob. The only thing I don't like about some of those machines is the top cage. There is no cross tube coming down from the top front of the roll cage to the back like on the Honda FL350. When I had my crash in 2015 that broke my back and crushed my L1, I actually witnessed the top cage crush in on me on impact. Then my helmet exploded (my head actually hit the ground when the belts stretched). I can not with words describe the tremendous G forces. I have had some very high speed offs with my race cars over the years when I was racing but this oddy crash was in a league all it's own. In a crash your top cage will fold up like a cheap chinese lawn chair if it's not built correctly. Slow rolls don't count as a roll over in my opinion. Trust me on that one. When ever I see a buggy now, that's the first thing I see. For those who may read this in the future here is a link: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15887&hilit=crsah CO |

On this EEE there was a bar that ran from the upper corner of the roof area down and back to the main bar that the seat belt mounts are attached to. The prior owner cut them out so his wife could enter through the side of the buggy and not the front. My plan is to have them added back. They are all sideways but I believe you can see what I’m saying Bob
