Wow Dave glad you're still with us! Any idea what caused the tire failure? Hopefully insurance helped with the damages.
Where were you when it blew? I will be going over my RV steer tires with a fine tooth comb before my next trip. When I replaced my tires I bought the best quality they made even went overkill on the fronts for this reason, you know RV 's not designed for front blowouts to begin with, I even swapped out the front shocks for the best Monroe shocks they make, now you got me thinking it's time to pull the steering stabilizer and check bushings and ensure it still has nitrogen pressure. RV only has 45k miles but it's the age I worry about.
Keep an eye on your tierods can't imagine the side forces they endured.
Hope you're back on the road soon.
