I was attempting to get these guys to let 1frc and myself and any other Pilot's to race in the San Antonio event coming up...
http://www.torcseries.com/
tiffanylandru@frontiernet.net
Contact these people and let them know how dissapointed we are as Pilot owners!
Here is what I have posted on the crybaby utv boards...

Well I got word from Tiffany with torc today... She informed me the pilots weren't "included" in the utv schedule? She didn't give a reason, but I'm betting (I've been thru this before) the "one or two race a year" utv guys here in Texas didn't want an old guy and old machine beating up on them in front of their sponsors!!! It's hard to go around getting sponsorships renewed when you have to tell them a 22 year old HONDA beat them at the last race...

It's just sad these types seem to think they are all that, and this makes the second time these guys have kicked our class to the curb!!!

No worries for me, it just upsets the other guys wanting to race these affordable cars here locally! They have put in a lot of work to get their cars "legal" by the rules I use out west when I race. But then this bunch just goes and writes their own rules to exclude the Pilot 's & Stadium lite's... These cars were what started this type of racing in case you are still too wet behind the ears to realize that!

Like I said No worries for me! I have already raced more this year than the "hero" racers here will race all year long, and I have a full schedule coming up!

Next weekend you can catch me at the California City Formula Desert Lites race put on by AVE

On March 30/April 1st I will be back to finish the Arizona Cup Grand Prix Series, (I am Currently in the lead points wise!)

Weekend of April 7th I will be racing with www.bajaracingtexas.com at the Blackwell 250! Last time I races at this place I took home 2 first place finishes... They haven't let me come back since... (Not the Ranch, the Texas EDR bunch)

After this race I head back out to Arizona for the High Desert Challenge put on by Whiplash Racing! On weekends with NO desert racing, I will then take my desert built cars and give the Lucas Oil short course series a run for their money... Those R-1's don't scare me!!! ;o)

That should make you a few friends lmao :-)

You try calling them maybe they tried to notify you "Yeah come race" by email and your ISP rejected it?

No she sent me an email letting me know it wasn't going to happen!!!
The rest is speculation to get the utv's riled up! A challenge of sorts!

Hey Turbo, lets make a deal.

Jackie @ TORCS uses Trackside to run her races. She has been after me this season for some changes but I have not been able to make it happen. If you will come to 1 GNCC race and compete against us, I will call TORCS and try to make a deal with her where I do some programming in exchange she will let you have your race class.

Deal or no deal?

sure enough of a killer deal, but the 60" width would be a deal killer... unless I went back to the stock suspension on the pilot...
I am working a deal to get into another pilot, but it might take some work, and then I could take my current pilot back to stock width... then have a long travel desert pilot...
plus the reason I wanted to do the torcs race was because it's right by the house, and wouldn't be able to commit to the whole mid west season... unless I had sponsors to pay for fuel...

If the Pilot deal falls thru, I will likely buy a diesel truck soon... real soon! You mentioned extra maintenance, but I don't recall a whole lot of extra stuff on the last diesel I had several years ago...

Got the same type of cold shoulder from the dicks @ neatv here in NE. Of course my reaction was similar in frustration...got me banned from posting on their forum. Just curious what kind of tech inspection you guys have to pass @ each race?
