The Artic PA ride was a great time. Snow was probably too deep for pilots on virgin snow, however the beaten paths prolly would have been navigable. Weather was good, about 25 degrees, had a few flurries in the afternoon. There was about 6-8" on the ground from Friday 12-9 storm. Nice thing about the snow is it covers the potholes and rocks to make for a very smooth ride. Traction was not a problem on all but the steepest inclines. The best part was no coal dust! First time we ever left the 901 without making a mess of their bathroom. The snow really changes the landscape making navigation from memory difficult. Luckily I had the GPS track log from last ride and used that to find our way around. All in all I would rate this ride very high in terms of fun. Sliding around in 2wd was a blast! Heres a few pics, hopefully Pilotnut will post some of his, he got some great sunset action pics. We are definatly planning to do this again soon.
