I am planning on being at St. Anthony dunes the week of June 22. Anybody else be in the area? I'll have my Dave-Co 670 pilot and my buddy will have my old Alabama Pilot. I'd love to meet up with anyone from the board!

Picture for the hell of it. My 72 probably wont be there... cant afford to keep it fueled up that far haha.

That's about our round trip. I think so far there is at least 3 of us going to caravan down there. If you want any more details of our plan let me know. I'd love to meet up with you.

Yes a local guy built it in the mid to late 90s. it's was originally a 4 place snowmobile trailer. We are looking to upgrade, just haven't found anything we like yet. The toys just keep getting heavier haha.

I hope you can make it. It would be fun to have a group of pilot/odysseys tearing it up.

Well, we made it down to St Anthony. Staying at Sand Hills Resort, neat place pretty packed though. No pictures yet, just quickly made a trip out to the sand and back since we showed up later this afternoon. Hopefully I'll have lots of pictures and video to share by the end of the week

If anyone is in the area, let me know!

Here is the first video, my friend shot this on his phone. Pilots are running a bit rich at this elevation. I jetted mine down one size but it still blubbers a bit, rather be rich than lean. I'm not fouling plugs so I'm not too worried.

The pilot with the red wind sock is my Dave-Co 670 pilot, the other one is my old Alabama Pilot wreck I sold to a friend.

I don't normally get to hear a 670 pilot rip around in the sand, so it's pretty cool to get to watch my old Alabama pilot. Just a few of my local friends caravaned down. There were 4 campers, and then I pulled some extra toys. Stopped halfway in Anaconda MT and stayed in a little rv park. We are here until Friday morning.

Haha yeah I realized that after he sent me the video, a little bit of a bummer, but they still sound pretty damn cool ripping up the sand. I took a cool gopro video today running pretty much full speed around a series of dunes for a good 10 minutes but it looks like the SD card is corrupted. Not sure if it's possible to recover somthing like that or not. Also a video of me chasing the old pilot through the sand, I can view that one on the gopro but cant get it off the card. Kinda bummed!
