When ever swapping to a after market pipe I always go a few sizes bigger on the main jet and lower the clip on the needle at least one notch so it will richen up the mid range too, this is a starting point you need to monitor the jetting and verify its rich enough for the new pipe.

I doubt you will need to change jetting because of bore size alone.

hoser,

The motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) came on Monday and I just opened it up today. That's some good packing! I'm going to keep it for the next time I ship a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) to you. This is going into the 84 frame off that I'm doing.

Quick question, what's the purpose of the nut above the spark plug?

Nut above the plug is extra clamping force on the head where the cylinder gets the hottest I think its the CR version of this Engine that was used on bikes had one on the intake side of the head also.

The spark plugs I installed was to plug the holes not sure if they are any good or not. :shock:

Thanks for that bit of knowledge, I couldn't find it anywhere. I bought new plugs for the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), so not too concerned.
