Hi guys I recently got an 83 fl250 from a guy on a work trade. Took it out this weekend and it fires right up and runs strong until 3/4 to WOT (Wide Open Throttle). I messed with the jetting with dropping a few sizes and going up a few sizes with the same result. Before my trip I put in a new fuel filter, uni air filter and a new plug new fuel lines. I did the normal thing of checking all the grounds after the bogg. Its just strang. you can run all day at half to 3/4 throttle and have fun but once you hit close to wol bogg city. Felt like a rich bogg but jets didnt make a difference at all. Could it be electricle? Im havent messed with many fl250 before mostly fl350 and pilots.

fl250s are known to plug up the exhaust pipe. Is your exhaust stock? It could be starting to plug up.
