What is everyone using for replacement on these since they are no longer available?

This works great with a 39mm carb should work ok with a 36mm not sure how it will work with the stock 32mm carb http://www.pilotodyssey.com/BTmanifold.htm

We need to have Speedchaser make up some of these so you could buy what ever rubber manifold you need to fit what ever carb you had.

I sent a email to Boyesen a while back asking if they had a straight Rad Valve that would fit a Pilot they never replied. Rad Valve would be my first choice.

What ever you do don't buy the manifold from chucklenuts at aftershot motorspurts motorsports.
It is a straight unit and the stock fl350 is offset.
If you put a straight unit on the intake boot coming from air box hits the gearbox and puts a big
kink in the boot. My brother bought one and we had a hell of a time fitting it and at $160 bucks
it's not worth it in my opinion. If I remember right the carb will also rub on one of the Engine to
transmission mounts and you will have to modify this mount by cutting one side of it off for carb
clearance.

oops my bad I thought you were asking about the fl350 unit.

No oops this is good info to exchange and for others to be aware of the Pilot and Odyssey share the same bolt patterns so one made for the 350 could bolt on a Pilot its the other dimensions you need to deal with if you want to use the factory air box and other rubber boots and maintain the reliability, I covered most this in my Big Tom Straight Pilot Manifold Modification article, not sure if that manifold could be used the same way on a FL350 or not.

I would still like to see Speedchaser fabricate a manifold that would allow the use of a Mikuni rubber manifold then owners can pick the manifold that fits the carb they want to use.

Speedchaser is a genius so I know he can design and build something that will not create the problems seen created by the one aftershitmotorsports.

At the same time Speedchaser could make one for the FL250 also.

Look at the design of the FL250 manifold its just a block of aluminum.

Speedchaser has done one for the Tecate already
http://www.pilotodyssey.com/PO/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7908

I can send Speedchaser a Pilot intake to model from not sure I have a FL350 intake but bet he does in his shop :-)

Below are just pictures of other manifolds I grabbed off the web to show what could be fabricated they are for other applications.

Hoser that would be absolutely wonderful if speed could make something that worked for all carbs. I am still running the stock carb because my daughter is not ready for more mods just yet. But I plan on a larger carb in the future.

Same problem, but for the FL350R. I started a separate thread. There are a couple aftermarket options for the 350 as well, but the prices are 1st degree rape, IMO.

You have a link to that thread?

We need to find a member with access to a CNC once drawn up it would not take much to produce a bunch of these and we could assemble a group buy?

Anyone that will fit a stock carb and has 2 bolt holes to secure it kinda like the ripoff afterthoughts but just a straight shot no bend

Here is some info for the FL350 I did a little work on, maybe it will work for the Pilot?

Honda Elsinore CR250R intake manifolds will work for an FL350 with modifications. I'm not exactly sure of the years but I believe they are 1978 thru 1980. Same bolt pattern as the FL350 but the manifold is center mounted where as the FL350 is offset.

A couple of issues when using these.....

1.) The left front edge of the carb will hit the Engine to transmission mount so the mount will need to be modified.
2.) Due to the offset, the large elbow to the air box doesn't line op so an aftermarket intake is preferable.
3.) The Manifold is made for I believe a 36mm carb, not the 32mm stock Ody carb.

I have one of these for sale for 100 bucks shipped if someone wants it.

They are for sale everywhere just start searching I would only buy a genuine mikuni rubber part I bough a pair of after market manifolds years ago for a snowmobile and they both leaked when installed, they are pure junk, got my money back for the after market manifolds and bought mikuni they are well worth the money.
