quick update - ive managed to un-seize the axles and finally the steering. while doing that ive noticed that the old beaten up ody doesnt have any brake lines and the master cylinder in a bit of a mess; the arm that controls the rear brake is missing. removed and cleaned out the small desert that had formed in the carb and im on my way to the shops today for some rolls of wire to start the rewiring job.

quick question, when running an ody on sand it doesnt require a front brake does it? all the quads and dune buggy's here all have them removed due to the danger of locking them up on the way down a dune and going head over heels. so if it only needs a read brake does anyone know where i can buy some after market brake lines or am i going to have to get some made here?

Not sure what that master cylinder is from, It's not from a fl350, looks like a motorcyle master cylinder,
I like front brakes :-) I don't think locking up the front brakes going down a sand dune would make a FL350 flip head over heals , it's hard enough just to stop going down a sand dune, if you lock up the front brakes the tires are going to slide on the sand not stop the odyssey instantly and make it flip over.

On my Pilot I use the front brakes to to 95% of my stopping, I like both front and rears to be working at all times they have saved my butt many times, you look like your going to have a project getting yours to work you have many parts missing.

i was thinking of getting another bike one. master cylinders for the 350 are too rare to come by especially here where its possible i have the only one. that is unless someone has a spare one they want to put a price on (and i'll make some arrangements to get it here)

Yup mount it then run a cable from the handle on the master cylinder off the bike up to the handle on the steering yoke of the Odyssey, I bet you can find one cheap at a cycle salvage.

Hey I have an FL350 master cyclinder that's need to be rebuilt. Also the site glass is missing but you can just JB weld where the glass used to be. Sounds like your on a budget so I would sell it for $25 plus shipping. I checked on shipping to you and I should be able to ship it for about $20 to $50 depending on how fast you want it. I think i have some front brake lines to go with it. If your interested let me know and Ill check to see what I have to get your brakes going...
