hoping to get the first ride in by this time next month, i think that's a doable goal. my master cylinders are on the way, I'm going to do a set up like jwhill did im using two dirtbike masters.

and the shocks were valved well from the guy i ordered them from. I gave him the weight, bias, travel, and front end set up and he pressurized them specifically for my set up and riding conditions, it acts exactly like a motocross quad so Im hoping they will preform well. nothing a little pressure change and such cant fix if not.

Started making my mastercylinder set up yesterday. Came together well. Just need a few bolts, spacers and welds

Got a few more things crossed off the list. Removed all the brittle wire holders on the frame and replaced them with hoops, remounted the pipe (had to cut and reweld it after moving the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) over) , mounted my electronics for the Engine and got my taillight.

Looking good.

Suggestion rather than welding a plate to the frame next time just weld a few nuts then bolt the plate to the frame but with rubber isolators between the frame and the plate so the electronics are isolated from vibration don't forget a ground wire between the plate and frame :-)

do you know what your master cylinders came off. i have one from the trx450 that i am parting out, but the black nozzle that the resivor connects to is up side down and can't be turned like yours do

@ fully the masters are off of a cr85, their the same for a xr400 i know, im not sure what others. Their Honda dirt bikes.

I got all my stuff for wiring some I'm going to run all that this week

Clearance is good stock seat all the way back, I am 6' 1" tall so seat all the way back was needed no additional heat shield was added to seat.

My engines crankshaft center to center with the trans input shaft is the same as stock I am running the Pilot belt not longer sled belts.

I used a aluminum bar to maintain spacing and offset perfectly

yeah I'm almost 6'3" and the way the head pipe was done prevents me from running the seat all the way back. but i figure that extra 1" isn't gonna make a difference. It'll still be short lol

any update on this? Did you end up putting a bumpstop in the rear suspension to limit the upstroke so your upper trailing arm links didnt get destroyed by the frame when you jump?

I'm guessing so. Without a rectifier/inverter, I'm guessing no battery & no e-start, too? Can't charge a DC battery directly with AC, and no battery = no e-start.

Got a video of some jumping last week, shocks need to be re-valved but not too bad for a first jump.
