picked this up last night. a $350 craigslist find. ive been looking for a 350 to pick up cheap for my step son. this will be a great project for him and i to do together. i believe i have just about everything this poor thing needs. hard to tell but it was super clean before the burn. the plastics had no sun damage and the seat was still bright blue with no cracks. too bad its all melted now. i will have to hunt down a wiring harness and starter solenoid with the battery cables. the Engine feels like it has compression. but i didnt pull it very hard. i didnt want to suck crap into the Engine.

Apparently it was in a garage that caught fire. From what I was told they guy pirty much lost everything in that garage. Including a quad. The guy I bought it from got it from his boss who had the fire. The original owner had this listed on craigslist several months back for $3000. I remember coming across it. I also got 3 good Douglas wheels. And all 4 stock wheels burnt up. But are very straight. No dents no rash. I'll sand blast them and see how they come out. And one good front sand tire. |

I see more parts available online from people than clean complete machines. I have almost every part to fix this already. I'll have less than $500 into it. And more room in my garage from spare parts. But most importantly its going to make a 10year old very very happy. |

Pretty sure I have a couple full harnesses plus more in a big tote. I can dig them out and snap some pics if interested. Cheap. |

He's got it tore down pirty far already. She only had 80psi of compression. Pulled the jug. It'll need a piston. It's on the stock bore. Picked up some neon green paint. This is one happy kid.

Thanks! He's doing much better at this than I expected. Anything I can do to keep him away from those damn video games! It's good to see him excited about something outdoors. |

Did some sand blasting today. Got most of the frame done. Found a crack that needs welding.

Did some more on this today. Welded up all the holes they had for the vinal sides. Also repaired the crack in the frame. I also added another tube on ether side to help prevent more cracks. I've noticed several machines with cracks in this area. I will probably have to modify the skid plate. Tomorrow PAINT!
