Buggie came together great, great work looks absolutely beautiful!!! More importantly, how does it ride? I bet that rear suspension is amazing?

I still haven’t drove it yet. Few parts I waited for and received today. Thank you yes the bike came out great. I spent a lot of time on it to do exactly how I wanted it. I’m having a problem with the driven clutch. I purchased this gearbox on eBay and it came with a bolt that goes in the shaft. The bolt is very short and when installing farrs kit where there are spacers you need to install makes this bolt even more shorter. If I’m lucky I’m catching 5-6 threads with the bolt. Does anyone know how long the bolt is that goes in the shaft on the gearbox. I keep looking around and always just showing the shaft with the keyway and not the bolt. I would really appreciate anyone’s help. Thank you.

Ok here ya go:
Total depth of the hole is: 1.425
Threaded depth is: 1.243 ------ Please note that the first .247 is not threaded.
Bolt is: 8mm x 1.25 pitch.

Method: I ran a long bolt into the hole until it bottomed out. Then I marked it with a red pen. Removed the bolt and measured how much thread went in before it stopped. Then ran dial caliper into hole to see how deep it was in total. Measured bolt pitch.

With this info you should be able to figure out how long a bolt you can use because of those spacers.
Don't get greedy and bottom out your bolt. As you can see by the numbers, you can get a max of 1" thread engagement.

The stock bolt is 25mm long and note that there is also a washer to be used = 28 X 8.5 X 4 . The spacers included in the far kit measure roughly 10mm. This would mean you need a new Fanged Bolt = 8 X 1.25 X 35

Alright well finally the site is letting me post something. Well well well....this machine is amazing. The 670 rotax in the machine is exactly what I was looking for. I got too comfortable with the factory 350 Engine and this rotax has got me on my toes now. Haha my first ride in it I gave it throttle and the bike did a wheelie!!!! The power is awesome. The front suspension is great. I have now better steering control and a lot tighter front end. The rear suspension is awesome. No more seized up factory shocks. It absorbs everything. The bike just now handles everything sooo much better. I just love it. It was worth every dollar and every sweat along the way. This project was a test for me for after my surgery to see if I still have what it takes. Haha

does the Farr kit you refer to space out the driven clutch so you can run the sled belt width or did you modify the 670 clutch so it takes the narrow belt?

The belt I have is still fl350 belt. There is just a spacer on the gear box shaft to line up the belt with the driven clutch to the drive clutch. A lot of people just didn’t put a spacer and never had a problem

You don’t have to modify either one of them because you are still using the factory gear box with factory driven clutch that only needs the factory belt.

This is what I did on my FL350 (pics below).
I only use one led light and use the wire that went to the rear tail light. This allows me to use the switch for the lights on the steering wheel without any major wiring work.
The light is mounted above my head on the roll bar under the roof lid.

Edit: I don't ride at night. To dangerous. It's only there in case I do end up running home late because of a mechanical issue. I always plan on being home by dinner time at the latest.

If I jump the selenoid the buggy will start right up. The start button doesn’t work. While the buggy is running the kill switch works to shut it off as it should. What’s interest is that while the buggy is running is I press the start button the buggy will shut the bike off like a kill switch. But the start button won’t start the buggy. Hmm. Any suggestions?

Did you wire the oem harness ignition, kill switch, and start button in to the pilot steering wheel harness? If so, can you tell me color for color on each side of the harness and for each item.

What ended up happening with the shocks? Did you ever hear from seller? Ebay is pretty good about getting you your money back if you get ripped off,I would have contacted them even though you said it had been awhile.I didnt see the post about your shocks till now

Pilot steering wheel to FL350 harness wiring

Engine Kill Switch

Pilot wheel wires = Black/Brown & Black/White
FL350 Harness Wires = Black/White & Green

Start Switch

Pilot wheel wires = Black/White & Yellow/Red
FL350 Harness Wires = Black/White & Yellow/Red

When disconnecting the FL350 steering wheel it is important to note/mark what main harness wires are serving what function. There could be same color wires at the harness.

EX: More than one Black/White wire.
