Thought I'd start a thread.
I'm currently about what I believe to be 90% finished, at least where it is ready to ride, after putting in a new crank, honing the pistons I had it running over the weekend, now I've convinced myself to swap out carbs, I have 38 sbn watercraft carbs on now, man will be a giant pain in behind changing jets to dial this in, almost impossible to pull the carb off to get to the jets without pulling the RV plate off first. I have some 40BN carbs that are setup with the throttle shafts in line which puts the pump on the
Engine side and the jet access plate to the back.
I have to make some custom velocity stacks so I can attach the air filters and the other thing is the pulse for the fuel pump is facing the wrong direction, I pulled out one of the 90 degree fuel line tubes from a junk carb and will be modifying one of my pump covers so the tube will be facing the Mag side.
