I rebuilt my steering wheel for the buggy. I am using a FL400 steering wheel and rear caliper. I sent them both out to nitrosport_5 for rebuild and couldn’t be happier. I think I am going to powder coat the throttle red. I forgot to mention that I am using a stainless steel brake line kit. I am very impressed with the quality of the kit. I purchased it from Galfer Performance Braking Systems. https://galferusa.com/product/honda-198 ... k003d469-5 |

Is it a complete kit front to rear or just replacement of rubber lines? Front and rear rubber and two to the steering? |

That steering wheel turned out really nice Curtis! looks like the gold powder i used was fairly close to what you used on the rest of it. Glad all the stuff made it safe! |

Ridgerun, It replaces all rubber lines. You keep the hard line to the rear caliper. Nitrosport-5, The color is very close, I can’t tell a difference. Everything arrived nice and safe as always. |

I had some time tonight to rebuild the gearbox I will be using on this buggy. I managed to get my hands on the oem seals for the rebuild. I think it looks awesome and excited to make a little more progress. Kuma wrote: Curtis, what is the diameter of the ody input shaft? will you be able to use a sled driven clutch on it? Unfortunately not. I would love to have a tunable secondary. It is the oem input shaft from the FL350. I have a brand new comet secondary clutch fitted with the red spring. I feel that someone could machine a new shaft to adapt different clutches but it’s not on my list at the moment. We’ll see how it holds up this way. |

Since I am going to be using a pilot steering wheel on this build I am also going to be using a pilot wiring harness. I wanted the lights to work on the steering wheel so I needed to install a few sensors. I got a pilot E-Brake sensor, Temp sensor, and a fuel level sensor. My friend helped me out and welded the bungs in for me. Another thing off the list. Starting to put this project back together for final assembly. I used POR15 products again for paint and decided to go with a Red, White, & Blue theme with some gold accents. I swapped out the secondary clutch spring for the red spring as well. It will still need some adjustments but last night I got it standing on all 4's again. Slowly chipping away at it & I wanted to post some progress I have made.
