I believe that the blow off pressure for the YFZ radiator cap is 15 pounds so if the hose is rated for at least 20psi you should be good to go. With the nylon weave within the hose it's probably rated for twice that!

What did you use for an overflow bottle? Thank god I had one on my initial ride with Turbo because I had a leak where one of the water fittings threaded into the head. I forgot to bring my back up antifreeze/water mix and it was the antifreeze/water in the overflow bottle that allowed me to ride until I got it fixed. I didn't tighten the water fitting into the head tight enough and had a slow leak. I could smell hot antifreeze but just couldn't find the leak until I got it back home.

Yeah, I just didn't tighten it enough during the initial install.

Love your stuff there Jim,great work indeed. But I too am worried or concerned about the Clear bias reinforced rad hoses.I see you say that they're rated for 150psi,but that is pressure only...are they rated for ??? temp?

ok got a chance to get upstate for some run time.after a bunch of plug chops, 3 retorques of the head, and checking the compression after each run 175 psi.this thing runs great.pulls hard all the way through the power band with no hesitation at all.temps on the water cooling were good no overheating at all even when crawling through the tight stuff in the woods temp stayed around 140 to 160 with no fan use during the run.the vent system for the crank case worked well too.it burped up about a half a shot glass worth of oil on my first couple runs and that was it.the overflow bottle stayed clean the rest of the time.the only problem i had is with the comet 102c clutch.it gets stuck fully engaged after a hard pull.if i putt around a little after the run it would release.i pulled the cluthch apart to inspect really cant find any problems.i think it might need a little more comet lube.i applied it very sparingly the first time.i would like to thank all who have given me the great tech support on this project nukem, hoser,Mudbogger, randman ect.i don't think this project would have turned out the way it did with out the great tech support that i recieved from all the great members here.thank you all.didnt get a chance to shoot any vidio this time.hopefully next time.heres a couple pics

so your exhaust blows right out on that frame rail doesnt it? having any probs with it burning the paint off? also looks like u had the issue with the exhaust leaking between the pipe and silencer. does what u did there fix?
