Thank you for the kind words. Yes I still plan to swap in a sled Engine but just haven't found the right deal yet on a donor sled. In all fairness, I have been a bit side tracked lately haven't spent much time looking. |

But since I left the rear section stock width I better stick with a twin cylinder. There is a smokin deal on a 600 Vmax on the Denver Craigs right now for 599.00 but I didn't think it would fit. http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3195728841.html" .".." .".." .".." .".." .".. isnt the vmax 600 a twin? i think that's what asazn put in a pilot. or maybe it was the 500 version. i put a yamaha ecxiter 570 twin in an ody. it? For some reason I thought it was a 3 or 4 cylinder. They are twin cylinder. The 700 is a triple and to wide to fit the Fl frame.I thought of swapping my SXR700 Engine into my 350. |

Haven't even looked at any of the buggies in months but got the urge to go ride today. Mixed up a little fresh gas, juiced all the tires and away we went. It was a great time had by all, gotta love Honda quality... |

I received this reply from him yesterday... Hello Nick, I am seriously interested in buying your 85 Honda odyssey 2-seater. I want to know if it is equal to that shown in the following pictures: Otherwise please send me pictures. The one you're offering me is new or used and what is the warranty? Can you give me the specifications of the Engine, suspension, brakes, seats, tires, shocks, body and others. And once paid how long it takes to build one. The Engine I want the strongest possible in 4 cycles. Regards, Diego I then sent this in return, but never got any response back.. Hello Diego, I think there may be some confusion, The buggy you sent the pictures of is actually the one that inspired me to build mine. It is not a Pilot, but an 85 FL 350 that is just wearing Pilot plastic. I did speak to the last know owner of the one in your pictures while building mine and he said it was un drivable while he owned it. The builder just slapped it together & it was just cosmetically finished. He said it never ran, wouldn't turn and the frame was never completed, although I will admit it was a very nice looking buggy. The 85 FL 350 Side X Side buggy I built was fully documented in the thread I posted a link to on PilotOdyssey.com. It is not new & if I were to sell it, you would be getting the Buggy I built in the thread. I am not a dealer and just like any other used ATV there is no warranty of any kind. As far as suspension, I have Works shocks on the rear and HPC up front. The seats are stock FL 350 seats with covers on them. The brakes are stock Odyssey drum in the front & Disc in the rear. The tires are Dunlop's in the front & Kenda Bear Claws in the rear. The Engine is the factory 350cc 2 stroke Odyssey Engine in good running condition. The body is just the factory FL 350 Plastics that are in fair condition for being 28 years old and I did make some side panels. Here are a couple of pictures but most if not all of your questions about the build and the performance of the buggy would be answered by reading the full 9 page thread here.... viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9352" I hope this helps, Nick I have a feeling he has never read the build thread and just saw the pictures of the one with the Pilot plastics and thought it was just something you can order. I will be the first to admit the one in the Pilot plastics looks way better than mine, but I'd bet bet you a chocolate donut mine will run circles around the other one, that's assuming they ever got it sorted out & running. lol... |

Yep, the next email you'll get will be something like... "So I would very much like to proceed with payment, however I will be sending someone to pay for and pick-up the item you are selling. I will be sending them with a bank check for $10,000. If you could please accept my payment and submit a check to them for the difference of $4,000, I would be greatly appreciated."
