Well, the axle is with a welder right now at the shop, he said he is gonna try and do whatever he can to it.

But also, I put it on Craigslist and a feller is gonna trade me a two seater buggy for it. I wanna keep it, because its so much fun and has great potential but I'm running out of money to fix it and I want something to ride.

And the hubs is 4 lug.

Just a word of warning.........

You may just be trading one headache for another. In all my years of buying ATV's I have never yet purchased one that I didn't have to repair something on.

Be careful that you are not getting another can of worms!

just to let your welder now that he should use 880 weld mold rod if they are Tig welding knock off the flux
do not mig weld
and he need to per heat so your spit bounces off that about 600f DEG

I was going to drill and ream a 1/4 dowel pin to hold center
then 45deg V both end just about to the dowel
when done welding get a dry bucket of sandblasting sand
stick it in there and cover it with about 1"of sand in-tell cool to touch

speed

I seen you CL add. I would put a pic of the phantom with the body panels on.

Also put fl250 and fl350 in the listing as tags.

Post some better pics of the reduction unit. Looks fl250 to me.

Not sure but you may have to have a machine shop make you an axle. Finding one I think may be really hard. Not sure though for I never looked into it. Tractor supply may have something. I would ask around here then check your local farm/tractor supply. They sale parts like this.

Here is a some pics a member from this site sent me. Not sure if you can buy these kits or not. I will have to go back and read my threads to find out who sent these pics to me. I am pretty sure these pics are the same thing you are using.

Does anybody know where to get axles like
these, on page 4 ?
Found a mini dune buggy frame, and
am building front and rear suspension, as well
as the complete rear axle setup, including the
centre section with the sprocket and disc brake,
similar to this.

Just trying to figure out which axles
to use, ...the PTO style, or can get CV style
out of a couple car wrecking yards cheap,
including the outer hubs and spindles.
There's an old VW at one yard right now
with a complete CV rear end.
