Post subject:  Hello from Indiana. Looking for some input

I'm currently up on crutches and on workmans comp and have succumbed to having to sell my beloved camaro I've been offered a trade for an '85 odyssey with a yamaha snowmobile 600 motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) swap and am looking for advice. I have yet to see any pictures as of yet (will include some when I get them) but what would the value be on something like this? Any help would be truly appreciated as, depending how I heal up I may end up selling it if it would be easy/worth it to sell. Thank you :-)

Welcome, regarding the value of the Oddy with sled Engine, hard to say without pictures, if it were done professionally with suspension upgrades it could be $5k if it is a hack job maybe less than $1k, what year is your camaro?

my .02 Honda FL350 are a dime a dozen...

Personally I would never pay over $3K for a FL350.

Stock suspension and shocks are crap...
Tranny is weak with no slipper clutch...
U-joints will fail and take out the rear shock...
A stock FL350 with a bigger m0t0r only means failure faster...

I owned a bunch of FL350's and FL400's with everything from stock to rotax 670's

I would say without other upgrades its only worth about $1K - $2K

Practically any Camaro is worth more than that...

There is not anything '85 in those pictures. Its at best a 1984 but is could be a 1979 too. It has a solid rear axle and barely any front suspension. Likely some kinda of backyard hack. Its probably worth less than $2000 and that's a huge IF. Unless your car is scrap then your car is worth more.

That's clearly an FL250 with a full cage.
Looks like a good job was done on the cage.
Honestly, I too would not pay to much for that.
With no suspension it's gona be a hand full. Unless you get it for a steal I would pass. Anything with real power like that needs suspension. You WILL hurt your back and handling will be suspect. It's all about the price at this point and how much you want to pay and how much the seller wants.

I would not give him $500 if it ran perfect...
