If this is why the site was down for a bit now everybody knows who to blame.I was always interested in playing in the dirt.It started with BMX racing & riding, then mountain bikes then motorized. My 1st motorcycle was a Yamaha DT400 that mom & dad never knew about.I rode it for a couple of summers. They werenever fond of motorcycles, don't know why,Igot more beat up on my bicycles. The 2nd bike I just brought home, never asked if I could. It went OK but it was a 250Yamaha trialsbike so it wasn't fast. I was always facinated w/trials riding, bicycles & motorcycles.I went from that to off roading (mildly)my first vehicle a 2wd 76 blazer. Then on to not so mildly with a 72 landcruiser FJ55 wagon & a 73 FJ40 with a small block chevy in it. Then a couple of Toyota p/u's. The last one had a 4" lift w/cut-out flares,35"tires & 5.29 gears.I had a lot of fun with that truck for almost 10 years.Around the same time I Shared a buggy w/ a friend. It was fun but hard to find different places to ride.I always liked Oddy's & came across one shortly after we unloadfing the buggy.I don't get to ride much as I explained in my first post but its for a good reason. There is a lot of promising research going on for my daughters Rett Syndrome so we always hope for better days.
Thanks Hoser for all that you do here

The only ones I have any pics of are the toy p/u & the buggy.I'll have to dig them up & scan them.I'll get them soon.I wish I had some of the FJ55.It was sort of an attempt at camo but it was really bad, cheap to buy but really ugly.People wouldn't park next to it.

The first pic is one of the trails we used to ride sometimes but usually turned into a day long event to get through(open rears)That is a buddy's 83 toyota w/35's on it.The only pic not taken up near where you guys do your PA rides is the one of my Landcruiser.A fun truck to play in but many headaches due to the small block chevy in it.The red Toy is an 81 Trekker,it had the back of the cab cut out.The whole back was fiberglass with a rear seat kind of like an early 4-runner.The blue 86 Toy was a reconstructed rollover(I bought it after it was rolled),the most fun & reliable of the bunch. The buggy was a Champion or Challenger frame I think, not sure that was second hand info.We bought from a guythathad a split rim from a truck mess up his left leg so he couldn't use a clutch anymore. The shot of the buggy is my buddy/co-owner driving & me with the camera. He is jumping onto the top of a coal mine dirt pile lengthwise. It has hillclimbs on either end & several on the front & back, nothing hard to climb but still fun.I think this ground is all permit only now.
Thanks for looking
