I had a chance to visit one today, I had a blast maybe 15 people total so crowds were not a problem!!!! And I always like to know someone is around so If I need towed back to truck!!! This place has a truck stop and Motel right at the entrance... Handy for me at least... LOL It has some great hils to climb some long drawn out roads to run and serious whoops everywhere you look!!! There is a $5.00 daily usage fee that you drop in the box. The trash was minimal and I like this place for my porpuses. On the CA/AZ line on Interstate 10...

Yep, that's it!

I see we should have known something about the Az riding areas.

Yeah we were right their!

If it was not such a mad house I would have looked around, I could not wait to leave the place after filling up!

Next time :-) I plan on stopping at that station or one close to fill up before entering CA on my next trip.

Here are some shots off of GPS... I have an arrow on first shot where you bought your fuel... And yes the place can be a MADHOUSE!!! Yesterday when I arrived they were 10 deep on the street to buy GAS. I do not use this place to buy fuel because of the long lines and slow service!!!

File comment: the total time is how long I had the gps on, which then gives you an average speed... I havewn't figured out how to fix this or get a top speed...

I got lucky when I pulled in to fill up and got the first pump on the north side filled up and got the hell out of their, I had to wait in line to PAY FIRST then they got mad because I asked for a receipt, they don't trust me but I am suppose to trust them haha what if guy goes home while I am filling up how I prove I gave other guy 300 bux?

Next trip I will be using a introductory offer GAS card with .10 off a gallon :-) for the whole trip.

Can you connect that GPS to a computer and transfer data? If so list the model number here so I can check it out...

I thought I was keeping a good average speed once until we stopped to take a break, on mine it factors in the stop time with your average...

WOW that sucks!

Any damage to the shock?

You might as well order TWO new axles!

One thing chucklenuts at aftershot motorspurts.com don't tell anybody is the FL350 is NOT a jumping machine, the axle is actually part of the rear suspension link, the more you jump the more risk of breaking the weak link in the rear suspension, the U joint, the works shocks that allow MORE travel in the read aid to the problem?

You ever add links to the rear suspension so when the axle breaks it don't take out the shock?

Shock is toasted, I had what I thought would hold up in a 3/16 cable, but it broke at he clamp... I am hoping I can get works to match the shock I have left??? This one won't be re-useable...

The cable broke at the stress riser created by the clamp.

I would look into fabricating a steel link.

Pivot points need to be dead center of each U joint unlike you see in the pic...

You didnt loop the ends just over lapped them?

I assume the plastic coating didnt help either...

I say make the solid links like in the pic above its adjustable so you can set the extension tension?

How did you get it back on the trailer?

I had made a stake from some channel and mounted a winch on this so I could winc up on top deck, or in this case lower deck while at home last week... I am glad I did it went rite up!! I ain't sure how I'll get it down, and rolled into small shed. I want to do that Sunday at home, drag off my shocks and send off to works to see what that will set me back...
Looks like I am buying myself some parts for Christmas!!! HO HO GO!!!

Great video, 2x longer than a MI flat track race... I like the credits and the plug for PilotOdyssey.com on the front bumper!

Painful ending I am sorry it ended that way and so soon, looks like you were on the way to making a good video.

You saving these clips on DVD?
