Heres my Hoser skid plate after a rugged PA ride. Held up well, one scratch is pretty deep, overall I'm impressed and would recommend this setup.

That's the ATV Racing Skid..... I have 1 on each of my pilots.... A pain to install and you need to drill holes in the aluminum where the seats bolts are located if you want to have any hope at easy in and out removal of the seat.....

Post subject:  atvr1 skid plates

i just purchased a set of atvr1 skid plates and was wondering if the work with hondaline nerf bars. i know the hondaline nerfs have a cross member. has anyone ever installed both of these on their machine?

Call ATVR to confim but I don't think they will work with the Hondaline nerfs, here are the installation instructions for the factory nerfs and I think the front bar wont work with that skid

Good luck with that skid its a bitch to install/remove then once the skid is dented you will really love removing it or installing it,listen to Pilotman drill HOLES that allow you to remove the Pilot seat without having to remove the ATVR skid first, first you need to remove the seat so you get an idea how much more access you have to service the Engine like chaning the balancer oil, I remove my seat after each ride trip and before I wash it up.

Any interest in these I might consider buying another 4x10 sheet of 1/8" aluminum and making some more in a month or so, dunno on the price the price will be mostly dependent on how much the aluminum cost.

Next question is where do I get my best price on the sheet of aluminum?
