I've been searching for a left front a-arm for my pilot for about 3 weeks. Much to my suprize, I found one on ebay last week and bought it. Today I received the box which carried my purchase.

Much to my dismay, I didn't receive what I though I had purchased.

As a warning to all of you ebayers ...... ASK QUESTIONS FIRST. I wouldn't put this freakin' a-arm on a buggy that I was going to roll over to the junk yard!

Here's the auction number and some "as received" pictures ...... anyone know this guy? He lives in Tucson Az.

Where is the complimentary tube of vaseline?
Ebay is a crap shoot everytime.
I have been lucky to only get ebay screwed once so far.

In the thread above entitled “Lessons learned from ebay” I posted a message about a recent experience with an auction I had won. The auction was for a lot of used pilot parts in which the seller clearly stated that the parts were being sold “as is” and “as seen in the pictures”

I posted my original message, stating my discontent, the day after I had received the parts. What I failed to do was contact the seller first and try to resolve the issue before I posted my opinions on this forum. For that, I am heartily sorry and I am issuing this public apology to the seller (throcks11).

The seller was gracious enough to refund the entire amount including the shipping as well as the shipping cost to send the parts back to him.

Now I’ve learned 2 lessons.

Cool he is refunding and making things right, I understand your post its a great way to vent frustration, I hope he understands this as well, since he is willing to make things right I am sure he will understand your post and accept your apology...

Sounds like a stand up guy.

He still a Pilot owner?

You give him a link to this site?

So you still need a arm for your Pilot?

Have pics of your current arm ?

- If I correspond with this guy again, I'll send him a link to this site. I don't know if he has a pilot.

I have another used a-arm on the way. When I fix my pilot in the next week or so, I'll take some pictures of the carnage.

- send me some info on the LT set-up you have. I may want to change over in the next few months. <jwhims@charter.net>

Mass, You're selling the LT setup? How come? I might be interested if Vroom isn't. Thanks
