A little progress on the 67..
I resealed the intake & painted the
Engine Chevy Orange & then pulled the front sheet metal & set it in..
Next I cleaned & painted the tail light housings & installed new lenses along with a new rear bumper & gas cap..
Installed the Wing windows & Quarter glass with new rollers..
Put a kit in a 600 Holley and installed it along with all the fuel lines etc..
Installed the heater box assembly with a new heater core resistor and replaced the broken defrost lever on the heater control..
Installed a new set of trans cooler lines and the Engine wiring harness etc..
Installed the full exhaust system. It's a non correct 69 2.5 Flowmaster American Thunder system I got when I bought the crate Engine from the guy in Las Vegas. It's basically the same as the a 67 or 68 kit except the tail pipes stick straight out the back instead of pointing down just past the rear tires. It had been installed on a 69 Camaro and who ever did it butchered the install. It's a 500 + kit so I just tried to clean up some of his UGLY welds and make the best of it..
Finally located the correct rollers to replace the ones broken & installed the door glass on both sides..
I have the dash mostly compete except for the glove compartment door, since I still need to paint it. I installed a new dual speaker under the dash & i'm am waiting on a radio I bought on ebay and then I can finish it up. I rolled the odometer back to zero and installed a new gauge bezel. All of the under dash wiring is completed along with a new speedo cable. Right now I'm waiting on a new lower column bearing to get here so I can rebuild the column and get it installed also. I did go ahead and install the driver side door panel but that's pretty much as far as I am on the interior as of now.
that's pretty much where the is as of now. I'm waiting on a new gas gauge sending unit to get here so I can install the fuel tank. Once I get that and I find the missing power steering bracket I need I should be able to throw the radiator in it & fire it up.
