I won't have time to get this off before my trip.

For now here are the outside pics. When I return I'll try to get it off.
Looks like it sunk in deeper on the PA ride.
We know the bolt is walking out as well.

MassOdy

Oh no. I retrieved the socket and driver at the 901.

I hope this isn't too sunken in....

Take the whole thing off and ship it to me, you will need to put the holding tool on the clutch then take a socket put on the bolt and tap it with a hammer to drive the cover back so you get full depth engagement with the socket.

The bolt is trying to wear through and the spring pressure is pushing it through.

I used a simple C clamp to hold the clutch and removed the bolt.

I need the specs for the pusher rod and bolt. Please.

Thanks,
MassOdy

Not pretty!

You will need to locate a new bolt you also need to chase the threads in the end of the crank with a tap, it will be metric, I think HRD said they make a bolt that is longer than that one, first you need to identify it then find one, maybe here http://www.metricspecialties.com/

This bolt to be replaced is 14 CM long with 3.5 cm of it is thread.

Thread Pitch is 1.25
And the shaft is 12 mm in diamter

Bolt Head is marked with double LL but the first L is backwards and a 8.8 below it.

Saga continues.

I got the clutch off alrighty.

A couple trips to and from the hardware store did the trick.

This powerbloc uses a 14mm 1.50 pitch puller bolt with a 5 1/2" pusher rod.
The rod is easily come by in a craftsman punch kit.
Its a 1/4" punch.

And an impact wrench.

The faces are scored and looks to be in need of replacing. And use as spare back up.

Cool you got it off!

You put grease on the puller bolt threads?

For stubborn clutches you can pump the hole full of grease then put in the push pin then put teflon tape on the threads of the push bolt so the grease is trapped in side when you tighten the bolt the grease builds pressure and helps pop the clutch off....

I used light oil. screwed in to check the fit and all.
Then backed it out. And then went to town.

It was a bit subborn. not as bad as my FL350 was.

I'll try and see if I can get a picture of the shaft end.

This is all bubble wrapped and just needs a box.
