I would not use this method. You will only succeed in breaking the cover or case. Buy a puller from Randy at odysseysalvage.com. They are a whole lot cheaper than a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) rebuild and or cases.

I don't have a puller for a stock clutch on the FL250 you try Hillside Honda or
Randy at Odysseysalvage, maybe triple E?

Triple E 1-800-763-3762

Odyssey Salvage http://www.pilotodyssey.com/PO/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16721

Hill Side Honda 707-263-9000

Odyknuck is right using anything other than the puller will just damage things like your clutch....

It occurs to me that I made one when I had the 250s. I will check tonight. I may have given it to the guy that bought all my 250 stuff. If I do, cover the shipping and you can have it. I have no use for it anymore. Send me your address. cyclefab@aol.com

Cool!

Before you install clutch on new Engine have someone pull Engine over with plug out to
see if end of crank is running true, then look at old Engine and crank see any difference?

Let us know how you make out.

That's cool, don't forget to mark that clutch too,so that you can tell if it is getting loose. It's no fun watching the clutch pucks fly by you when they come loose.I also use a med.grade threadlock on the mounting bolt.I had problems with this on my fl350 and fl250 of a buddy's with the comet clutches. The thread lock and constant inspection at every tank full will help out a bunch.
