Here’s a small update on this one. The original shocks were lost (again) when Works went out of business (again). I bought a set of shocks from another member but they weren’t going to work because of length. Rusty has the twin to this car and put new shocks in it so I purchased his old ones. The rears bolt right up but he had to modify the upper front mounts to accommodate the Fox shock. Anyway some pics of it finally with shocks. And if you haven’t noticed it takes me forever to get this crap going

No Rusty is doing all this work for me at his place in California. I’m shy talent and patience for a lot of this. He has the right tools as well. Seat is in and the firewall is done.

Good thing I don't live near you, between you and beer poacher I wouldn't have time to do anything I want to do on my projects.

Currently fixing the axle on his backhoe as it blew the bearing and spun on the shaft.
If that axle was 1/4" longer it wouldn't fit in my lathe.
Had to make custom brass buttons for the steady rest.
Still have to weld it up and turn it down.
Had to split the planetary drive to get it out.

My project --- I made a see through intake so that I can view how far the reeds open on an oddy.
Haven't had time to install it or make a video because of all of the projects I've been doing for friends, like make a roof rack for a buddies golf cart.
He owns property in the interior near a big lake. Everyone who don't live right on the lake has golf carts that they take and load inner tubes and sail boards.

This buggy did not have an Engine to trans mount when I got it from turbo. He had a problem with the Engine mounts cracking welds and frame tubes. Rusty went with a setup he made the he saw from snowmobiles. It uses a rubber snubber at the end of a tube. It’s not attached to the trans but to a frame bar above the trans. This should keep the Engine from being pulled backwards and tearing up the mounts. Anyways here are a few pics.

I’ve been looking for one of these Formuling France steering wheels for over a couple years. Specifically one priced low and in great shape. This popped up on eBay and came all the way from Estonia. Took about 10 days to get to me. It is the cleanest one I’ve ever seen. Most are shot from the sun. The stitching is in great shape, the whole wheel shows Little to no wear. Most of EEE I’ve seen started with this wheel and since they all use the same quick release, it will fit multiple buggies. It’s grey versus black but I’ll take it.

That looks very nice and reminds me of my formula race car. It had the same quick release it looks like.
