This might help others get started using the Photo Album.

I created an account called Dummy Account to help me build this tutorial, let me say I am NO expert with this album thing I am suprised I was able to get it setup and running this far so we will have to learn together (PLEASE HELP ME haha)

1. Go to http://pilotodyssey.com/cpg/index.php and create an account, I don't have the email settings setup correctly yet so its not going to send you an email, notify me and I will activate your account, after I activate your account you can log in and create an album.

2. You create an album by clicking on Create / order my albums see pic below see the red arrow?

On the next page click on NEW then type in the name of your album then click APPLY MODIFICATIONS

After clicking APPLY MODIFICATIONS you will be taken back to the main page where you can now click UPLOAD FILE

On this page you click BROWSE and navigate to the pictures you want to upload, you can attach up to 5 pics at a time, I think I can change this setting to more if you guys want, it might create a time out problem for slow connections.


After you have added all your pictures click CONTINUE

It then tells you if you did it right or not, if you were successful then click CONTINUE if not I have no idea what to tell you lol, contact me if you get an error.

On the next page you have to tell the album where you want each picture to go, IMO this sux and is a pain in the ass but its out of my control.

Your presented with each picture you added, click on SELECT ALBUM then PERSONAL ALBUMS then the album you created earlier.

You can give it a name and enter a description for each picture if you want.

When your done click CONTINUE

You get a message telling you if you did everything right, if you get an error contact me with the error I will help you out.

Click Continue

After you have done this to all your pictures it takes you back to the main page, click on USER GALLERIES

I created a album called DUMMY ACCOUNT you should see the album you created

Ok if you made it this far and can see your pics you have options, you see DELETE PROPERTIES EDIT FILES play around with these, you can delete a pic if you don't want it any more, in properties you can change or add text , in edit files you can see the same options for all your pictures

If you have a lot of pictures you can email them to me and I can BATCH UPLOAD them to the photo album for you, this might be easiest for everybody that has a large amount of files, I have batch uploaded over 300 pictures at once, so if you want me to batch upload them let me know, if you can zip them up and email even better, if you have hundreds on a CDrom you have been collecting over the years you can even send me the CDrom if you like.

Once I batch upload them you can go back and add any text discription you want.



I am sure their is SIZE limits for the pictures both FILE SIZE and a maximum FILE SIZE right now I am not sure what the limit is but I will figure it out and come back here and edit this post to include the info, I suggest you check your pictures and if they are over 800x600 you save or backup your orignal pictures then resize them before uploading or sending to me by email.
