I JUST LOST MY CHERRY TO GLAMIS Man there is nothing like it in the world I got my new wheels mounted and took off... It got dark about the time I got things set up!!!
I will venture out to the hills and explore some more in the daylight!!!!
I ran with some of my nieghbors here and these guy's had the high dollar rides and they were surprised at the power of my little ody. I was real happy with how the ody ran. Might need a new filter but other than that all is great... I love the adreniline rush!!!!
I camped on Gecko road plenty of room to get turned around here. Not alot of people and I like that!!! They say halloween weekend is opening of the season, but the weather was nice here this afternoon when I got here!!! I could spend a week here!!!

I need to get a list of stuff ya'll think I need to be buying to keep with me. I think my fuel filter might be bad... belts etc... Most have been doing this awhile and know wat the nessecities are...

I had a chance Sunday morning to ride in a custom 5 seat 18 inch travel car and lordy be this was the bomb. The car wasn't even painted yet. He was just out checking for bugs. I was in hog heaven the places this thing went!!! and rode like a cadillac... I told the guy it was like riding a rollercoaster. He said a coaster you control!!! The Dunes went on foever, and this guy knew where he was the whole time. He has been coming to Glamis for 16 years. His brother in law had an older style full sized buggy, that ripped up olds hill in third gear. Olds hill was huge, to say the least, and saw several quads go up also. I was wishing I had the ody running right to give it a try, but only think I would have gotten 1/2 way if lucky.
I need to get the digitron set up, and learn how to jet this thing so I have enough confidence in her to take her out. Being by myself, I didn't want to venture to far awy from the truck and my tools etc, just in case. I am hoping some of the regulars on here plan on attending the week in October at Little Sahara in OK.
Sorry I don't have any better pictures to share...
David
