Here is some good reading, it probably will never apply to you but the theme about after market parts is the whole point of this post, over the years I have found the same theme to apply to almost any after market parts for, ATV, motorcycle, automotive etc. rarely have I found a after market product that comes close to the OEM parts in design, function or quality I guess its why I am so skeptical and critical when I see after market parts and accessories, like others I usually only find out the flaws after buying and using the after market products, so far most the parts I have bought for the bug baja project is cheap knock off junk, I returned over 1/2 my parts order from JC whitney, they were happy to refund my money, when asked why I had her type in "low quality junk not worth even installing" not that it will make a difference...
now I look over EVERY part I get from them real close before leaving the store.
