OK My pictures are not very good but let me try to splain it... I noticed a grove in my belt on my 350, and when I removed the belt I felt up the power bloc and noticed what was causing the groove. There seems to also be a sleeve that is around the output shaft that is loose... any thought???

The thing you have your finger on is suppose to be lose its a plastic? or fiber bushing that is impregnated with some sort of dry lube it keeps from wearing out the shaft and belt when at idle it acts as a bearing.

Did you find anything on your clutch faces that might groove the belt?

OK that solves half of the problem... Now where my finger is on the edge where my cuticle would be is where it is wearing at...

the wear is either coming from the face of the clutch, or the belt rubbed the face down??? I have a clutch puller and might tear apart??? I am swapping out tranny tomorrow, as my driven clutch is making wierd noises??? I felt my tranny and it wasn't to warm, but the clutch was real hot to the touch. I read tour 800 reasons, and will buy some anti-sieze in the AM!!!
