Hi all, i know this site is dedicated mainly to the pilot's but am hoping some of you might have or know of some fl250 rear suspension setups, as every post ive found searching on the internet has turned up to be from 05 or before and nothing recently. most of those posts as well have very few how to's or pictures.

any help would be greatly appreciated as i cannot afford a fl350/400 right now and want to get my wife some suspension so it doesnt hurt her back as bad.

Thanks in advance
Alex

Hi welcome to the site, your limited to what you can do on the 250 for rear suspension, their is no kits that I know of.

If your going to fabricate your own you might get some ideas from the challenger I use to own it uses a FL250 gear box.

http://pilotodyssey.com/challengerhome.htm

I forget where I see it but I see another 250 suspension that was like a huge swing arm in the rear, I will look for the pics.

Thanks Hoser, that's a start for sure, i was thinking about just making the rear squared off and a whole swing arm(ive got some 2" square tubinglike 200ft of it) that would make a killer square tube rear section for the Engine and all that stuff. would it hurt for the Engine to pivot with the rear rather than be solid mounted to the frame? i couldnt see it jumping around nearly as much as the solid rear axle makes it.

Give me a list of your questions and I'll ask him...Baz
He reckon's he's gonna kick my Pilot arse with his $2 fiddy! I will be getting him to race with me at the Northam OR Speedway.

yes more pictures close up, i want to know about the heim joints, im thinking more like a piano hinge style rear, i.e. 6" long round tube with some 6202(or what i determine to work the best) bearings and a solid bar going through the middle of them.

also i was thinking of something along those lines but using typical chevy leaf spring eye bushings but i think the bearings would last forever and a day(not that the bushings wouldn't, could always install a grease fitting in the rod)

They are 1200x960 so it wont take them can you resize to at least 800x600?

The attachment mod is suppose to auto resize them but I cant figure out why it don't.

You can change the resolution inside your camera, if your not going to print out the pictures with your printer their is no reason to have it set that high, 640x480 is what most use for the web I see no reason to go higher than 800x600
