Kiowa and I thought we had the dunes all to our self until Kiowa and 
a brand new Honda Quad meet up in a almost head on collision
There were no major injuries, The quad and Kiowa's Pilot did how
ever suffer some minor damage.

You can see the kink in the upper A-arm right where is normally bends 

The ATV Racing front bumper really did its job, It absorbed the impact of the crash see 
how it collapsed during the impact. Sure the bumper is trashed but imagine the damage
that their would have been without the bumper.

Look real close here and you can see the bent tie rod

Total damage: 1 front bumper, 1 tie rod, 1 upper left A-arm
I just happen to have a spare set of A-arms and tie rods so after
about 1/2 hour of wrenching we were back into action.

We finished out the weekend of riding without further problems 
but we rode about 1/2 our normal speed, The accident shook 
both of us up pretty bad if Kiowa and the quad would have hit a 
split second later the quad rider would have suffered a broken
leg or worse.

I will see if I can get Kiowa to put the crash into his own words
and will post the story here.
