Hi, I am in Cedar Springs, MI (just north of Grand Rapids). My godfather had a couple new FL250's when I was young, got to play with them. I recently got a quad, and my wife is a paraplegic (car accident) and I wanted her to be able to run around on trails with me. I instantly thought of the Odyssey's being all hand controls. So after searching for a few months, I now have a 81 250. She has been in it once, and thinks the suspension is too rough, so I am looking for a 350/400 soon, but I have to get the 250 in good enough shape to sell for at least what I put in it.

Anyway, Real name is Dave, nick name of Smash but it had nothing to do with anything offroad :-)

If anyone sees a really good deal on a 350/400 in the Michigan area, please let me know. I'll get some pic's of the 250 up real soon. Its a definite work in progress.

Dave

Hi and welcome to the site.

If you have fabricating skills you might consider a rear suspension mod for the 250

Check out this thread.

Whats nice about the 250's is the price and as you know the lack of suspension sux, parts are plentiful and usually cheap, I liked the 250 because it was lite and narrow great for the trails.
