If you live in SoCal, it is on the way to Las Vegas, off the 15fwy near Baker. It is a really fun place to ride.

I believe Kuma is going to try to make this trip. Going to contact Westecbuilder as well. He unfortunately had to miss the Glamis trip, I hear he had to work and his boss is a real titty twister! I will have a full RV, my brother in law and his wife are going to join us, as well as one of our friends and his girl friend. Shoubadaba's brother and dad are going to try to make it as well. Toby is also pondering the trip, he is still licking his wounds from the fl350 u-joint failure that destroyed his works rear shock. Sucks.

Yep, planning to go out Friday as well, probably leave in the morning, stay 'till Tuesday or Wednesday.
Have you ever camped against the first finger near #7 shitter?, it's nice to be closer to the main hills.
How 'bout Halo?

I've camped all over at Dumont. The spot by dump-deposit #7 is a cool spot, if I recall it can be a bit soft over there at times. As long as we don't get too close to the razor back I should be fine. If you are going to be there first, Kuma, I am fine with that spot.

Halo will be out of town, a college function for his daughter is going on that weekend. Plus he needs to fix his Drakart (needs drive belt) and also fix his LT rhino's axle that he just replaced! I think they might have sold him one too short, it popped out of the diff.

Yes Nick, this titty twister is going. That was nice how you kept the 1000 a secret. You can be Sooo "tight lipped" sometimes. And yes, the sexual innuendos are flooding my nefarious noggin. My boys have the week off, but Vicki only has the weekend, Soooooo, am not sure how long I can stay, unless she gets a ride back with someone, THEN its "Boys Night Out"! :) unless Vicki reads this, then its just sad :( By the way, looking forward to you "keeping up" & "riding me" with that "NEW TOY" of yours. See there, I'm doing it again. Damn, it's "SO HARD" having a brain like this :)(:

So...you're saying your testies are taking a rest? HAHA

Yeah, i was bummed you couldn't make the Glamis trip, I was gonna surprise you like that time you fell asleep and I stuck my dick in your mouth and took a picture. (J/K...it wasn't a surprise) I have some friends that will be returning Sunday, I am sure Vicki can hitch a ride back with them. Would be cool if you could "extend" your stay until Tuesday with us. I'm pretty sure this toy will keep up, and the best thing about it is we won't go through all those pesky D-Cell batteries and chipped teeth to get the thrill we need.

Looks like good riding weather, around 70 for the highs and 43 for the lows, bring fire wood.

Hey Nick, I will be leaving about the same time Friday, you want to Buddy-Up & make it a Dumont Driving Train !? Hey Kuma, I have ALOT of firewood to bring, I'm over flowing with WOOD! He-He, this is sooo easy :) So leave your meager pittance at home & Mr. Twisty will bring the LOAD that keeps you warm at night!

Dougie-Doug, I will be "cresting" your "area" around 3pm-ish. I will give you a holler once I hit the 210/15 interchange. I think my brother in law, who i was hoping could bring Vicky home, will be missing this trip. He is currently getting settled in his new house and has quite a bit to do still. Have you thought about having Vicky drive another vehicle? Might cost a little extra, but you would gain an extra 2 days of "fun with the boys" not to mention all the "loads of wood" we will have! I myself have 2 giant "loads" already "packed up"
Anywho, I will talk to my brother in law today and see if he can make it or not and I will call you soon.

Also, i have another friend, Donald, who will be joining us. He has a home built Kawasaki zx14 powered two seater sandrail. Really looking forward to some fun rides, and not just the wooded ones

Trip was lots of fun. Did a good amount of riding. Went on a ride Friday night when Westecbuilder and I got there. He took the lead in his pilot, Kuma rode shotgun in the XP with me. Westecbuilder must have had a real bad case of dune fever, because he was ridin like he was angry at the dunes! One of the fastest night rides I have ever been on. Really fun. We had 3 roll overs for the weekend. Westecbuilder was first. He followed me over a razorback, but I guess he must have forgot to slow down. Wound up jumping the thing, nose-landed, and tumbled a few times. I will show you a pic of the spot he rolled. And of course, it was the tallest dune out there! He got lucky he didn't keep on rollin down the hill. Next, on another ride, was his son Alexander. He rolled his suzuki LT250 in pretty much the same scenario. Took the razorback too fast and jumped the quad. I actually got a little video of it since I decided to turn my camera backwards, although it is really a far distance he was behind me so it is hard to see the roll. He flew around 20 feet and had a good fall. He was alright, just a little sore. The next roll was Kuma, he was in the lead in his pilot and he kept hearing a loud clicking noise. He rounded a right turn and hit a kicker, and hit front wheel broke apart. The center section was still on the pilot, but the rest went rolling up a hill, then made a U-turn and came back down. Kuma did an endo-style roll, and his roll cage/fenders/whip never even touched the sand! Worst part about it was I didn't get it on video! He was able to drive the pilot most of the way back on 3 wheels and when we got close enough we went back to camp and got him another front to put on real quick. Below are the pics, I have tons of video to sift through, but will post them up with ready.

Also, on a side note, we discovered a way to pop a tire off the bead in order to clean sand out and seal the tire to the wheel. You just use the electric jack (if someone has one) on the front of a 5th wheel trailer or whatever trailer you have handy. Pics below will show you how.
